New Step By Step Outline Of Our Opening Title Sequence
Today our group came to the conclusion that we needed to write a new step by step outline in response to our test shoot. The major things we concluded from this shoot was that we must both add more clips due to the sequence being far to shot and switch between both close ups and extreme closeups.
Moreover, we are sticking to the storyline following the outline of a young boy being murdered after being knocked of his bike and an unknown woman being blamed in response to the murder, she is placed in handcuffs while forensics investigate the scene, leaving the viewer questioning whom she is and whether she did it.
Location- Rich family home ( Hopefully at Cornhill Manor)
Actors- Middle aged Woman, Forensics, Police Officers.
Throughout this opening title sequence the close ups of the crime scene will follow:
1. Closeup of bike wheel turning in left hand corner ( sound effect of the wheel turning).
2. Closeup of Police tape being rapped around the crime scene.
3. Closeup of Cones being placed around the scene.
4. Extreme closeup of foresnsics putting gloves on.
5. Extreme close up of police tape.
6. Closeup of forensics Unzipping an evidence bag.
7. Police talking over the shoulder shot .
8. Closeup of police walking away- camera level on floor.
9. Woman walking out of the house looking in shock.
10. Closeup on her shoes walking out.
11. Extreme close up of police tape with the police lights in the background.
12. Closeup of police placing bike bell in an evidence bag.
13. Extreme close up of woman being placed into handcuffs.
14. The bike on the floor- closeup.
15. Closeup of womans face- in shock, crying.
16. Closeup of police taking her away.
17. Mid shot of police taking her away, walking towards car.
18. Mid shot of woman being taken away near car.
19. Closeup of car.
20. Extreme closeup of the opening of car door.
21. Her head being pushed into the police car by the police.
22. Blood on the floor and covering the woman's hands shaking.
23. Extreme closeup of the bike lights smashed on the floor.
24. Mid shot of forensics placing evidence in a van.
25. Extreme closeups of Child's helmet broken with glimpse of blood.
26. Extreme close up of Child's rucksack with things coming out of it.
27. Bike again closeup- clear to be a child's bike.
28. The woman being driven away in police car.
29. Blood dripping of the child's bike ( long and slow shot)
At this moment in time, we have decided to scrap the idea of the titles for our sequence being shown through blood being written. Instead we think we will work on this when editing and find a font which can fit our scene accordingly.
