Idea 2 For An Opening Scene

CONCEPT- IDEA 2 

Starts with a friendly looking, yet slightly creepy man handing over some keys to a family (2 kids and a couple) who are stood outside a run down apartment complex making it clear that they are most likely moving in. With just this brief interaction between this man it is made clear there is something odd about him due to a weird smirk he places on one of the younger children leaving the child looking rather disturbed and with a weird sense.  In response Grabbing his mothers hand and clenching. 

Then cutting to a shot of the family outside in the communal garden, One of the children is running round playing with the dog throwing a stick when all of a sudden the dog drops the stick and starts digging in the distance which the family are currently un aware of due to looking at the outside of the property intriguingly. When all of a sudden the younger girl shouts over- ' Somethings in doggys mouth.' pointing at the dog.  

The dog runs over with what is quite obviously a bone resulting in the family and neibours look in horror and are mortified, scene ends on two clear remains from bodys. dug up from the ground.

The rest of the films narrative explained briefly

As the film develops Family realise that the people that lived in the apartment before then for last few years had all gone missing and therefore there unsure what to do, due to the apartment being an amazing price and them not being up to afford anything else.  Red flags start to appear about their next neighbour who initially gave them the keys.
